USQ Event Update - Sept 2024
The USQ Events Department has some announcements and updates as the season begins.
The USQ Events Department has some announcements and updates as the season begins.
The Tournament Director Certification, Events pages, and more have been updated at https://members.usquadball.org/events-page.
Under the Host a Tournament tab, there is now the Event Registration Form, Sanctioned Event Application Form, and TD Certification Form! Beginning in October, the USQ Event Calendar will begin showing community events (pending submission approval).
Deadlines and details for USQ National Qualifier Events and USQ Cup 2025 are available for review.
For the upcoming season, USQ will continue using Quadball.one for all events and games during the season, and it is now a requirement for events. USQ will continue the roll out of the TD Proctor program, where TDs can connect with and learn from mentor TDs about their events. Interested parties can email christian.barnes@usquadball.org.
With the transition of all USQ National Qualifiers to the spring, we recommend the inclusion of more development at events for the fall. Teams may choose to attend an event as an exhibition team, where they will still need to follow USQ official rules and member compliance, but their games will not count for season play requirements or USQ official standings.
Please reach out to events@usquadball.org or membership@usquadball.org with any questions or concerns.
